The 31st Southeast Asian Games Mobile Legends: Bang Bang winners are back in action again, this time going up against an unconfirmed team in a show match this weekend.

The SIBOL MLBB team will take center stage, participating in a show match that’s scheduled to take place before the grand final of the realme Mobile Legends Cup Season 6.

Realme, one of the leading smartphone brands in the Philippines, is holding its sixth MLBB tournament. The winning team will receive the majority of the Php700,000 (around US$13,000) prize pool.

Before the grand final match between Cerebrum ML Pro Team and Monster Anarchy, the SIBOL squad, led by the iconic Blacklist International duo Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, will once again be in the Land of Dawn to show off their skills.

The announcement was made on the brand’s official Facebook page, hinting that the SEA Games gold medalists will take on a mystery opponent in the show match.

“It’s official! Our SEA games gold medalists Team MLBB SIBOL is coming to RMC Season 6 Grand Finals this Sunday!” they wrote.

The grand final will be held on Sunday, 10 a.m. GMT+8, at the SMX Convention Center. It will be livestreamed on realme’s Facebook page. There will also be giveaways and other surprises during the stream.

Even though no official announcement has been made, it’s highly probable that North America’s BTK will face the SEA Games gold medalists.

North America’s BTK is currently in the Philippines for boot camp and is scrimming with various local teams.

BTK team captain Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun mentioned during a livestream on April 27 that he wants to see whether the M3 World Championship third-place finisher can still compete with some of the best teams in the MLBB competitive scene, which includes the SIBOL MLBB team.

“I wouldn’t mind trying to compete with the SIBOL team and seeing how strong they are because they just won the SEA Games over Indonesia to get that gold medal,” he said. “I think it’s definitely possible that we can win.”

After their four-game custom match with Nexplay EVOS’ Setsuna “AkosiDogie” Ignacio two days ago, AkosiDogie told viewers what to expect in the next few days for the squad.

“Guys, watch out for BTK and SIBOL team,” he stated. “It will happen during RMC, watch out for it.”

BTK made waves after they upset Blacklist International 3-2 in the upper bracket at M3. After losing to ONIC PH in the upper bracket, the North American squad dropped to the lower bracket to meet Blacklist once again, but lost the rematch and were eliminated.

While the show match is still not set in stone, it will be exciting to see another M3 World Championship rematch between MobaZane and the V33Wise duo on the big stage.
