The 2nd edition of the Gamers Galaxy Invitational series is now live in HatYai, Thailand. This tournament arrived right after the PGL Arlington Major concluded and fans are blessed with back-to-back Dota 2 action. If you don’t want to miss the Gamers Galaxy HatYai, we got your back! The Gamers Galaxy HatYai Invitational will only be 3 days short, likely due to the cramped schedule in the Dota 2 competitive scene. The event starts on August 18 until August 20 and is played live in front of a crowd in Central HatYai, Thailand.

A total of 8 teams are competing at the HatYai Invitational. In contrast to the previous Gamers Galaxy event in Dubai, all invited teams in this tournament are from the SEA region.

What is the format of the Gamers Galaxy HatYai Invitational?

Due to the tournament’s short duration, the format is very fast-paced. The HatYai Invitational begins with a Group Stage that is set to happen from August 18 to 19. Two groups of four teams each clash in a BO1 Single Round Robin format. The top two teams of each group advance to the Playoffs. The Playoffs will be a Single-elimination bracket where all matches are BO3 except for the Grand Finals which will be a BO5.
