M4 World Championship will be held in Indonesia with US$800k prize pool

More details have been revealed for the upcoming M4 World Championship.

Moonton announced that it would be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from January 1 to 15, 2023. The tournament will have an US$800,000 prize pool, the same as last year’s M3 World Championship.

This is the first time an M-series will be held in Indonesia. The inaugural tournament was held in Malaysia, while the M2 and M3 World Championship were held in Singapore.

A teaser video was released on YouTube over the weekend, showing which regions will have a slot in the tournament.

Details such as ticket prices and official venue have yet to be revealed.

EVOS Legends won the inaugural M1 World Championship in 2019, while the Philippines’ Bren Esports won the M2 World Championship.

Blacklist International won the championship for the Philippines a second time at the M3 World Championship last year.
