2022 PMPL SEA Championship Fall — League Results

Oct 16

The League stage of the 2022 PMPL SEA Championship Fall has ended, and let's take a look of the overall results in terms of both the Bonus Points Rankings (which will determine the Top 16 to SEA Finals) and Weekly/Overall League Rankings 📊

(Green background indicates team advances to SEA Finals, while red indicates they are eliminated)

Looking at the Bonus Points rankings, The Infinity were able to get 76 points which will be huge coming into the SEA Finals for them as headstart points. Thailand teams dominated the Top 7 in the charts, showing they are currently the strongest in their game. Unfortunate for DBD, Box Gaming, SEM9 and BN United that will not be making it into the SEA Finals next weekend 😥 GG guys, try again next season🤟🏻

As for Overall League standings, we can extract the trend of each team on their weekly performance. For the most obvious; The Infinity has proven constant improvement as they get more and more points after each week alongside Alter Ego LIMAX & DBD, while the opposite case for teams such as SEM9, Vampire Esports & NFT Esports as we saw them dropping off very after 3 weeks. Most other teams saw a mix of growth-drop balance throughout the league stage.

With that, the SEA League has ended, and next weekend comes the SEA Finals. Teams will receive headstart points equal to their bonus points rankings and will battle for 5 slots to the 2022 PMGC. Who will succeed? Let's find out this Friday, Oct 21st.
(If any of the teams that already advanced through PMGC Points/direct invites, the qualifying slot will be passed on to the next performing team). Let's wish the best for our Malaysian teams to make a comeback in the SEA Finals 💪🏻🇲🇾
