CERBERUS Esports, OVERPEEKERS, FaZe Clan and Entropiq made it to Grand Finals at PUBG Global Championship 2022 


The one-day Grand Survival stage has ended, according to the results of which the teams CERBERUS Esports, OVERPEEKERS, FaZe Clan and Entropiq advanced to the Grand Finals at PUBG Global Championship 2022. In turn, fifteen other teams that took part in this stage left the championship, taking the final 17- 31st place.


The best team at the Grand Survival stage was CERBERUS Esports, which won already in the first round and ensured passage to the final stage of the championship. The winner of the second round was the European team OVERPEEKERS. The FaZe Clan team went on to the Grand Finals, while Entropiq became the winner of the fourth round and completed the lineup of participants in the final stage of PUBG Global Championship 2022.

PUBG Global Championship 2022 takes place from November 1 to 20 in Dubai at the Dubai Exhibition Centre. As part of the competition, 32 teams from Europe, the CIS, North and South America, Asia and Southeast Asia are fighting for the total prize pool, which starts from $2,000,000.

Coming from ESL Challenger Valencia, 00Nation looked like they needed some time to get things going with the new Epitácio “TACO” de Melo-led roster. Their win over Furia was solid, but they got smashed by Sprout and lost a close game to Outsiders. Most considered the team an also-ran at this event. But a victory over Astralis has immediately put the spotlight on the team.The map veto already had strange signs coming from Astralis. Usually, the team favors their pick of Ancient against most teams. While 00Nation has beat Furia on the map, it was a closely contested game. Maybe the recent changes to the map led Astralis away from it. Instead, the Danes banned it in the first rotation, allowing 00Nation to guide the veto onto Mirage. <img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/20220702_Joao-Ferreira_ESL-Challenger-Valencia_02321-1024x683.jpg">Benjamin “blameF” Bremer got his frags as always, but the second alarm went off when Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth was the only one keeping up with him. Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander as an IGL is expected to be closer to the bottom of the leaderboard, but surprisingly Asger “farlig” Jensen and Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke were down there with him. For k0nfig in particular, the absence of Astralis’ Entry-powerhouse meant that the team’s T side fizzled out quickly. For our lovely 🇲🇾Malaysian teams, Yoodo Alliance put up quite the show with a relatively consistent performance throughout the day with an additional WWCD, pushing them up to Top 4, but unfortunate for 4Rivals, their performance have gone down for today but still staying strong on Top 9. Geek Fam finally had a really good game taking the last WWCD of the day with 14 eliminations as they farmed elims around the Gatka area and pushed themselves from #15 to #11. Overall, 🇹🇭Thailand has dominated the day claiming 4 of 6 WWCDs today and The Infinity specifically have reached 200 points🔥
