ECHO is parting ways with Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico, the organization announced on its Facebook page.

The organization released a video tribute to the EXP laner, thanking him for his contributions to the team.

“We’ll miss your TPs and flashy plays — the house of highlights is very proud to have had you as one of us,” they wrote. “GGs and we wish you all the best ahead!”

This comes after the team finished second at MPL PH Season 10, qualifying for the M4 World Championship early next year. This is the first time the organization will compete in the M-series. 3MarTzy was not included in the M4 roster announced last week.

The orcas acquired the 18-year-old in Season 9 along with other superstars including former Nexplay EVOS’ Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera and Bren Esports’ Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno.

The team finished third that season and faced sixth-seeded Smart Omega in the play-ins stage. But things took an unfortunate turn after they were swept in a 0-3 blowout and eliminated early.

In Season 10, the organization acquired Nexplay EVOS’ standout Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya and replaced 3MarTzy in the starting five.

The switch-up was a success, and the organization finished second in the regular season with a 10-4 win-loss record.

In the playoffs, they eliminated defending champion RSG PH in the lower bracket semifinal to book a grand final showdown with Blacklist International. Despite losing the grand final 2-4, the team still secured a slot at the M4 World Championship.

With 3Mar’s departure, Sanford remains the only EXP laner on the team. There are still no announcements on whether he will play for another organization next season or completely retire from the league.
