With years and years of people playing the game – Dota 2 gradually developed a set of unwritten rules.&nbsp;Of course, these rules aren’t actually real and there are no real consequences to breaking them – but they are very much vital for everyone’s sanity. Also, not all of them strictly apply at all times but it is the general consensus. So if you’re new in the game and you don’t want to instantly get reported, religiously follow these ten commandments of Dota 2.&nbsp;<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-38-1024x576.jpg">The first Dota 2 rule in our list comes in the drafting phase. The drafting phase is when players pick their heroes and players might want to play the same role or the same hero. In this case, use the roll feature (/roll) in chat and see who gets the highest and the other person will have to adjust.During drafting, the usual pattern for role picks is supports first, followed by the offlane, carry and the final pick goes to the midlane. This is heavily important because counter-picks exist and it’s best for your cores not to get countered. Why must the midlane go last? It’s because midlane is a 1v1 lane. They don’t have a lane partner and getting countered is a massive disadvantage.So pick according to order, don’t exceed the timer, don’t waste your teammates’ gold, and adjust whenever needed.In Ranked Matches, most people are tryhards and it’s because MMR is at stake. If you feel like making a bizarre pick, it’s better for you to try out the other game modes such as Unranked or Turbo.There have been many instances of pro players trying out something new or something unorthodox and inevitably, it trickles down to every rank in pubs. And if you’re experimenting heroes or itemizations that you aren’t sure of in a Ranked Match, you’re highly likely about to be flamed. Even though experimenting might just end well, it is extremely risky.You can always practice something in an Unranked Match or a Turbo Match before officially bringing something to a Ranked match. Remember, you’re not only risking your MMR so pick properly!This right here is a Dota 2 basic but many people still fail to master it. The concept is simple on paper, however, the method of doing it is very subjective and it depends on a lot of factors. But we’ll break down the basics of it to help you understand.So what is Creep Equilibrium?<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-40-4-1024x667.jpg">It is creep balance, in which you have to last hit and deny properly to make sure the creep wave remains in the same area. If you maintain creep equilibrium, you’re able to static farm at one place that is safe and efficient. How do you maintain creep equilibrium?Aim for the last hit and deny. Don’t randomly push your creep wave. If you’re playing the core role, don’t randomly hit your creeps, it will cause the creep wave to push into a more dangerous part of the lane which in turn makes it dangerous to farm. Calculate when you have to hit or deny and keep that balance so that the next creep wave ends at the same area.Creep blocking is also a great way to control your creeps’ movement. You can do so by body blocking the creeps or if you’re playing a hero like Earthshaker, you can use Fissure to block creeps easily.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-1024x641.jpg">One of the most common ways to maintain creep equilibrium is to stack and pull. Using the nearest jungle camp, you can deny your own creep wave so that the next wave is pulled back. But before pulling the jungle creeps, make sure to stack it first so that you can deny the whole wave. If you don’t stack, it will cause your creep wave to double and the lane will push further. Creep pulling is usually done by the supports while the cores stay in the lane.The midlane is like the backbone of a team – if it fails, the entire body crumbles. And that is why it is essential to make sure your midlane is doing well. If they are struggling, you have to go out of your way to make them as comfortable as possible. It is like being a babysitter.Because of how important yet vulnerable the midlane is during the early stages, it is common for ganks to happen. So either help gank the enemy midlane or you help counter-attack when your midlane is ganked or dived under the tower.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-1-1024x632.jpg">The midlane is also the nearest to power runes and it is important to secure or deny them from the enemy so they don’t get an early advantage. Because of the runes, midlaners usually buy a Bottle. If supports just respawned or returned to base, make sure to teleport mid and refill your midlane’s Bottle if they need it.Remember these three points about helping the midlane:<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-2.jpg">This rule is as simple as it sounds. Don’t steal someone’s farm. If your allies are minding their own business in the jungle, hitting creeps in a camp – don’t steal the last hit, don’t steal the gold. This rule also applies to camp stacks. If someone stacked a camp, you don’t take the stack. Most of the time, support heroes will stack for the cores, and in that case, the cores can take it. Make sure to communicate so there are no misunderstandings.The whole issue of ‘who gets to farm what’ actually depends on the distribution of resources and which hero needs the gold more. But the rule of thumb is to let your cores farm and clear waves. Meanwhile, the supports can opt for the unoccupied camps and creep waves.This Dota 2 rule might cause an uproar in the community but we have to say it loud. Dear core players, sometimes you don’t HAVE to carry that extra Iron Branch over a valuable Dust of Appearance in your inventory. If there are invisible enemy units such as Riki or Bounty Hunter, make sure you have one in your inventory at all times – at least during the early to mid game.There’s this perception that only supports must carry utility items such as Smoke of Deceit, Dust of Appearance, and Wards. That is a distorted fact. Generally, supports invest and carry these items because they don’t have to prioritize farming as much as the cores. They also usually have a couple of extra spaces in their inventory. But that doesn’t mean only they have to carry these items.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image.png">If you’re playing a hero that is fast or that initiates, for example a Spirit Breaker or Axe, it’s more efficient for you to hold your own Dusts or even Sentry Wards. This is because you come into the fight first and the support heroes, with a puny Boots of Speed in their inventories wouldn’t be able to pop the Dust in time. Also, the Observer Wards are free! If the supports are not warding well, the cores can simply plant their own and save their time from endless pinging.If cores don’t feel like investing in these items, they can always ask for the supports to buy a couple and drop it to them.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/getonulhdkp31.jpg">Most core players don’t understand the pain of being Level 4 at 10 minutes into the game. Supports do – and it’s important to give the Tome of Knowledge to those who need that XP boost. Supports usually are the ones that go away from the lane and rotate the most, so they will have an XP deficit. It’s also crucial for supports to get their ultimates as fast as possible, so they can make space around the map. A level 4 support can really be useless when the timer reaches above 10 minutes and they’ll miss a huge power spike.In the case of a carry or midlane hero experiencing a tough laning phase and they’re extremely underleveled, then they might need the Tome more. The deciding question should be – who needs this XP boost right NOW? It might be an ally who’s very close to Level 10 or Level 15, it can be given to allies that are underleveled, or to an ally that has a stronger ultimate.&nbsp;<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/Yatoro-snatches-Aegis-from-Miposhka.jpg">Not many players understand the importance of Roshan and its Aegis of the Immortal. Killing this gigantic creep gives your team a chunk of gold, XP, and item rewards – a massive advantage that can help you snowball. The main reward is the Aegis and the person who holds the Aegis has the ability to reincarnate on the spot. When taking Roshan, your team has to decide who gets the Aegis and it depends on who needs that 2nd life. So who should get the Aegis? Usually, the one who dives in and deals a lot of damage will have the Aegis priority. It’s because they’re the main damage dealer that is very important but they are also prone to dying first. And that is the role of carry heroes or maybe even the midlaners. There is no point for someone who sits at the back and barely does any damage to have a 2nd life.Same goes for the rest of the item rewards including the Cheese, Aghanim’s Shard, Refresher Shard and Aghanim’s Scepter. Don’t take what you don’t need, determine with your team which item should go to who.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-48.png">This might be contradictory to the whole mindset of Dota 2 being a team game but pubs are not perfect. You’ll have great teammates but you’ll also get extremely obnoxious and offensive ones. In fact, you will likely have one of these players in every game you play.Communication is vital but talking with toxic players is nothing more than wasting your time. There is no quick solution to dealing with toxic players than the mute button and immediately your game turns into a better experience. Do not forget to leave them a report and pray that they’ll get the ban hammer. <img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/FYctHGmX0AIonvs">This is a bonus Dota 2 rule but it is probably the most important one if you don’t want to get flamed. A Rampage is another level of glory for a player and you don’t want to steal that moment from them. The odds were pretty stacked against Secret, and people assumed OG would take the series. Especially with the relatively recent roster changes of Team Secret and the seemingly unstoppable force that is OG. However, Team Secret managed to pull through and take the series 2 – 1 against OG and secure a early spot in the upper bracket final.In games 1 and 2, both teams surprisingly picked up Slark for themselves. Slark has been a long forgotten hero due to his rough laning stage and bat matchups. However in the new patch 7.32, he’s been buffed with regards to his ultimate and his Pouce ability. OG first noticed this and picked it up in game 1 with their final pick. Yuragi’s Echo Sabre, Midas, Aghs build worked wonders against Team Secret and OG took game 1 with it. <img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-38.png">Game 2 also featured a 23rd Slark pick for Team Secret. Although Crystallis didn’t follow the same item build and rather went for the common Diffusal Blade build, it worked wonders against OG. Especially since they picked up Medusa and a support Sven that were good for Slark. Team Secret ended the game 51 to 32 in the 55 minute game. <img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/image-37.png">Other than the Slark pick, there also has been some other unique picks that have surfaced due to the patch. In game 1 we saw OG’s ATF pick up a Centaur. Although we were all disappointed we didn’t get to see his new uber aghs, it still landed OG game 1. We also got to see the return of Puppey’s Treant Protector which didn’t manage to have the same success. Although its not the most rare of sights, we saw a Medusa picked up by OG in game 2. But what was the rare sight was support Sven, which OG’s Chu picked up. Similar to Puppey’s Treant in game 1, the unique picks didn’t quite pan out for OG. But, the patch is still new, so who knows what other picks we’ll see throughout the tourney. Game 3 had a pretty 7.31d draft, but we did see PA who is arguably the best winner of 7.32. The PA dominated the game and kept OG on the backfoot for most of the game.Although OG lost the series, all hope isn’t lost. OG is now in the Lower Bracket. They’ll face off against the winner of Nigma Galaxy and Thunder Awaken. And if OG fans know one thing, its that OG can make a killer lower bracket run. Team 🇲🇾AutoKnockout (previously Blacklist International) were able to win the Group Stage after competing in 12 matches of the 24 that they play in with a total score of 203 and 3 Booyah!s. Our recent MCPS Majors S4 runner-up &amp; champion; 🇲🇾Expand &amp; 🇵🇭AV Radicals were able to finish in 2nd and 3rd respectively, still maintaining their domination throughout the Group Stage, especially for Expand as they got 5 Booyah!s 😦. On the other side of things, a few teams that didn't do quite well during the MCPS Majors but surprisingly made a comeback in this event were NSEA &amp; NoXScape Revolt as they were able to push themselves into the Top 12 to advance into the Finals where previously they didn't qualify for the MCPS Majors Finals.


The Open Finals starts tonight from 8.00pm onwards on ESL Malaysia/ESL Mobile channels. The 12 teams will battle for 3 slots to the ESL Snapdragon Mobile Challenge that will happen in February in Jakarta which will feature other top teams from ID, TH &amp; VN. Which teams from MSP will make that Top 3? 👀

Ok! Since Franco is going to be our Dec's LEGEND skin so Aurora's rumoured LEGEND skin is cancelled or rather suspended for the time being.


Gord's LEGEND skin will be revamped soon and it will be the skin's 2nd revamp after 2018.


Lastly after Franco the next role to get LEGEND skin is Mage and it will on a limited time event similar to Granger &amp; Guinevere's gacha.


Let's keep our expectation low to be surprised by the outcome of those skins (in a good way)

This hero class is easy to use and very beginner-friendly.Mages, otherwise known a spell-casters, rely heavily on their abilities. They’re a common class of heroes in multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBAs) like Mobile Legends, and role-playing games.While the mages’ role across genres may differ, their core characteristic remains the same: Deal burst damage.The least expensive mage that players can get in the MLBB in-game store is Eudora. Priced at 2,000 Battle Points (compared to the usual 32,000 Battle Points), she’s a great addition to help you get your bearings as you begin your MLBB journey.The first thing you’ll notice is that she has three skills, which makes it easier for you to click, as more advanced heroes can have four active skills. It’s important to understand what each of the skills do before using a hero.Under “Heroes” tab at the bottom margin, you’ll find a directory of all MLBB heroes in the game, with explanations and animated examples of how their skills look.Drawing on the example of Eudora, Superconductor is her passive. This means that it is not an active spell, and will not show up as a button. Eudora’s Superconductor passive for instance, gives players a longer stun duration and more damage when applied. Luo Yi, MLBB’s latest mage, relies on the Yin and Yang of her passive to deal more damage and displace enemy heroes.As such, it’s important to read a hero’s skill description and understand which combo — the order in which you chain your spells — is best.Logically, Eudora players would start out with Forked Lightning first to apply Superconductor onto enemies, followed by Electric Arrow to stun them, and finally Thunderstruck. This ensures that stunned up enemies will get hit by her ultimate.The faster you are at these combos, the more damage you’ll be able to output in an encounter. It also gives enemy players less time to react.Play your chosen mage hero, then practice chaining their spells one after another. Once you get the order right, you’ll also start getting used to how long it takes before you can restart the full combo after each spell’s cooldown.<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gtA065WPE-A?feature=oembed"></iframe>As your hero levels up, you’ll gain access to more skills. Only at level four can you unlock your ultimate. At level one, you’ll only be able to put a point into one of Eudora’s three spells.Because all other spells benefit from Superconductor, Forked Lightning is the obvious choice at level one.Crowd control is always valuable, and will help you lock up enemies, or put them in their place as you’re running away, so put a point into Electric Arrow at level two.At level three, you’ll get a choice to put another point into your first or second skill. It differs from hero to hero, and what skills they possess. Based on Eudora’s description, her first skill deals more damage than her second, so it’s more advantageous to increase the power of Forked Lightning.Of course, as your ultimate is your strongest spell, pump points into it whenever it is available.<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CpBZo7OhGic?feature=oembed"></iframe>Skills in MLBB each have their own predisposed range. It’s especially crucial for mage players to know how far your spells go because you’re entirely dependent on them.If you cast a spell but enemies were not in range, you would have wasted mana and whiffed all your damage. It also completely messes up your combo and renders you ineffective in those moments, which could get you killed.Knowing the range of each spell also helps you position better. Mages are usually long-ranged, and want to keep their distance from enemy heroes. They do not have high health, so if you walk too near assassins, fighters and marksmen, you can get taken down easily.When you’re comfortable judge of the range of each spell, you can then move towards or away enemies while still dishing out maximum damage.For example, Cecilion’s first skill, Bat Impact, deals more damage at the end of its range. In the clip above, you’ll notice that his other two spells have a different range, so moving and casting your spells is important. Use the range indicators to help you at all times!Remember to also check how much mana each skill costs, especially at the early levels. Mana management is in itself a technique, for if you spend all your mana casting spells to clear minion waves, it gives enemies an opening to jump onto you.If you do not have enough mana to cast a spell, a blue indicator with a lightning bolt will be reflected on the skill.<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1Iiml6qKyC4?feature=oembed"></iframe>Mages deal early game damage and create early pressure onto enemy heroes. They do not scale as well with items compared to marksmen, long range Physical Damage carries who rely on a combination of primarily auto attacks and skills.This means that mages’ damage does not increase exponentially the longer the game goes on. The moment you complete all equipment, that is the maximum burst you’ll be able to produce. You peak at the early to mid game, and prefer mid as your go-to lane.Compared to other lanes, mid lane runs straight down, and therefore is the shortest distance wise. We have talked a lot about his opinions about the social network and some of his more controversial business decisions, such as laying off 50% of the workforce, but less about how using the platform day-to-day has changed for its 237 million monthly active users.


1. Blocking alternative ways to view Twitter
 
The most recent change appears to be Twitter suspending access to its API, which is what other platforms use to communicate with it. So if, for example, you are using a social media manager to view your account rather than the Twitter app or website, you may find that Twitter is currently not working with it.


It is unclear whether the move was deliberate, although many experts believe it was.


Tweetbot is one of the affected apps.
 
&quot;My guess is that this is because those third-party apps do not show ads and they allow the user to manage their feed as they see fit, which is at odds with Musk's plans to put more ads in front of users' eyeballs and prioritise the tweets of people who have paid for Twitter Blue,&quot; said tech commentator Kate Bevan.


Twitter has not made an official announcement about it yet, but popular apps which seem to be struggling include Tweetbot, Fenix and Twitterific.


2. Curation
 
Perhaps the most obvious change has been the order in which people see tweets that appear on their timeline. A new tab invites you to choose between the latest tweets from people you follow, and tweets recommended by Twitter.


If you are using the platform on an iPhone you will see two columns at the top, &quot;for you&quot; and &quot;following&quot; - if you are on an Android device you have to hit a star icon on the top right-hand side of the screen.

The issue is that many users did not notice this, or did not realise that the app seems to default back to Twitter's curated &quot;for you&quot; feed from time to time. There have been complaints that this feed is full of Twitter's recommendations, and interactions between people you follow and people you do not know, rather than content you have chosen to follow in the first place.


However, others do not mind it: &quot;Some days I want to go to a restaurant with just my friends, some days I'll pitch up at the pub and see who's in...can be fun,&quot; one Twitter user told me.


3. Controversial accounts are brought back


Mr. Musk started with some popular accounts that had been banned for breaking Twitter's rules under the old system. They included the rapper Kanye West, who was banned for sharing anti-Semitic posts, the influencer Andrew Tate, who is being held in Romania on charges of people trafficking, and former US president Donald Trump, whose tweets were blamed for starting the Capitol Hill riots in January 2021.


4. Twitter Blue
 
After a few hiccups, Twitter's paid service, Twitter Blue, went live at the end of November. The monthly fee of $8/$11 (£6.50/£9) gives you access to extra features, such as a &quot;edit&quot; button, more visibility, and fewer ads. From what I've heard, it seems to have gotten a decent number of subscribers, but not a huge number. As usual, there has been no official news about its success so far.


5. Gold and silver ticks
 
A verified account used to have a &quot;blue tick,&quot; which is now a sign of a Twitter subscriber. It was given by Twitter to hand-picked accounts of celebrities, journalists, and brands to show that they weren't fakes


Those who got a blue tick under the old system still have it, along with a message saying that it is a &quot;legacy&quot; and &quot;may or may not be notable.&quot; So just because you see a blue tick next to an account doesn't mean that account is authoritative.


It has been replaced by a gold or silver tick for brands and government figures. For example, Coca-Cola is now gold, and an explainer says that it is a &quot;official business.&quot; The account of Rishi Sunak, the UK's prime minister, now has a silver badge.
