With 2022 PMGC taking a month long of hiatus before the Grand Finals, it is time to look at the tournament that will seed teams into the 2023 PMPL MY/SG/PH! Presenting the 2022 PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) Malaysia ⚔🏆

As announced earlier this year in the esports roadmap, PMNC will now be the only way for amateur teams to qualify for the succeeding year's pro leagues. PMNC MY this time will feature a total of 34 teams, of which 32 will be playing in the Group Stage today and tomorrow to qualify for the Playoffs in which they will meet 2 relegated teams from the 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall.

Let's take a look at all the participating teams that qualified into the Group Stage. The detailed qualification of these teams are as follows;
- 24 teams from 2022 PUBG Mobile City Tournament (PMCT)
- 4 teams from 2022 PUBG Mobile Campus Championship (PMCC)
- 1 team from 2021 PUBG Mobile Campus Championship (PMCC 2021)
- 1 team from 2022 Malaysia Esports League (MEL)
- 2 teams from 2022 PUBG Mobile Telur Mata Cup (TMC)

These 32 teams have been split into 2 groups of 16 each, and each group will play 5 matches. Only the Top 7 of each group (14 total) will advance to the Playoffs this weekend and meet 2 invited teams from 2022 PMPL! For more information, you can check out the event page on Liquipedia:
