With the end of last week's matches in the ESL Snapdragon Mobile Challenge - Play-ins marks the halfway point of the Play-ins stage. This week, 18 final matches across 3 days will determine the final 6 teams of 12 to advance to the offline Grand Finals in Jakarta later in February 2023.

Let's take a look at the overall standing as of 18 matches play of the total 36.

🇲🇾SEM9 currently leading the rankings with 349.5 points, 34 points ahead of Heavy. 🇻🇳Heavy also have climbed the rankings as they were super dominant across the past 3 days of matches and were able to push down Expand. 🇲🇾Expand however is not far behind with only 6 points difference. Vietnamese teams; VGM and Team Flash as well as Thailand's KOG were also able to secure their Top 6 spots to advance to Jakarta.

So far, it is looking very good for 2 of our representative teams (SEM9 & EXP) to secure the Grand Finals tickets. As for Axis Esports, they did quite a small comeback to push themselves to 8th with 43 points difference (207.5 pts) than KOG (250.5 pts). Unfortunate for Farang they have dropped off hard and is now in 10th with 200.5 points.

Anyway, it seems like the next 6 slots will be comprised of Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand if these teams are able to keep their consistency. We still hope that Axis and/or Farang are able to come in full swing to catch the Top 6 for another Malaysian representative.

The final week of the Group Stage commences tonight from 8.00pm (GMT+8) on ESL channels for the next 3 days (20-22 Dec 2022). Let's witness the action and hope for the best 🔥
