And with a new trailer dropped yesterday (January 7th), anticipation for the next season is at a peak.So, with Book Two releasing on January 18th, we’ve put together a full recap of the story of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood so far. It’s perfect whether you’re just a bit rusty on the story or want to jump straight into the action when the new season releases.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/warning2-1.png">The Dragon Knight Davion enters a strange blood pact with a dying Wyrm and unlocks strange new powers. Meanwhile, Mirana and Marci search for a sorcerer who can solve their woes. Finally, the Elves of the Nightsilver Woods look to free their imprisoned goddess, while Luna, protector of Selemene, seeks to stop them. But all these moving parts may just be pawns in a game played by Invoker and Selemene in a dark revenge plot between former lovers.&nbsp;<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/Dragons-Blood-Recap-4-1024x576.jpg">Traveling dragon slayer, Davion, a Dragon Knight, discovers the lair of an Elder Wyrm. However, knowing that facing the Dragon is certain death, instead spends the evening at a local tavern, where he meets Mirana and her bodyguard Marci. The pair are searching for the Mage, a mysterious figure with great wisdom. Mirana, formerly royalty in the Nightsilver Woods, seeks to atone to Selemene after falling from her grace and losing her status.When a local mercenary is corrupted by the influence of the demon Terrorblade, Davion races back to the Elder Wyrm’s lair to attempt to save his life. However, this results in Davion facing down both a Terrorblade-possessed Uldorak and another wyrm, Slyrak. As Slyrak lies dying from the confrontation, he enters a blood pact with Davion, seemingly slaying the Dragon Knight. Instead, both are now fused with the Dragon’s blood.Davion is saved by Mirana and Marci, and the trio travels together to a nearby city. Mirana, Marci, and Davion find conflict in the town, with the latter transforming into a fearsome hybrid Dragon form. Mirana and Marci save Davion from himself, and the trio flees from the forest.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/Dragons-Blood-Recap-2-1024x576.jpg">Meanwhile, Fymryn, an elf from the Nightsilver Woods, travels with her companions. However, Fymryn and company are cast out shortly after meeting Invoker. Soon they are ambushed and attacked by Luna, who has been tasked with recapturing the stolen Lotuses. Luna kills most of the elves, but Fymryn is able to escape.Behind the scenes, Invoker and Selemene commune. It’s revealed they’re former lovers who even had a child together. However, with neither able to save their daughter’s life, the two are now bitter rivals.<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/spoilers.png"><img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/Dragons-Blood-Recap-1-1024x576.jpg">During their travels, Davion, Mirana, and Marci travel to a Dragon Knight fortress in the mountains and meet Dragon Knight Kaden, who has sworn revenge against Slyrak. When Kaden realizes Davion has entered a blood pact with Slyrak, the group is forced to fight the Dragon Knight, which releases the Dragon’s spirit inside Davion.Slyrak, possessing Davion, goes on a rampage, and Davion’s consciousness is trapped communing with other Elder Dragons. Fleeing the rampaging Slyrak, Mirana and Marci reach the Mage’s Valley, and we realize the Sorcerer, the Sage, and the Mage are all aliases for Invoker.&nbsp;<img src="https://cdn.owlscore.com/artilce/esportsgg/Dragons-Blood-Recap-3-1024x576.jpg">Luna uses Selemene’s power to subdue the elf rebels. This maintains control of the Nightsilver Woods, and force the elves to obey the goddess. Finally, Davion, who has regained control of his senses after parlaying with the dragons, rejoins Mirana and Marci. Mirana discovers from Invoker that the next step to recover her royalty is to return the stolen Lotuses.Mirana and the rest of the group are tasked with returning the Lotuses to Selemene, but it’s clear Invoker has another plan as well. Traveling with Fymryn, Mirana, Marci, and Davion learn to work together while battling dragons all in aid of returning the stolen Lotuses.&nbsp;The series climaxes with a grand battle in the Nightsilver Woods, with Invoker’s plan being revealed—The returned Lotuses block Selemene’s power, and the elves, sensing the loss of the goddess’s control, host an uprising.Meanwhile, the Dragon Knights appear to capture Davion. The series ends on a cliffhanger, with Davion captured and all the characters split up. Selemene is seemingly possessed by Terrorblade and the stage is set for Book TwoDOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book Two will likely reveal to us the fates of Davion, Mirana, Luna, and others. But there are a few burning questions we have following the end of Book One.Top of the list is the fate of Selemene? Is she dead? Possessed? And what does that mean for Luna’s power. What will Luna, Mirana, and Marci do now their goddess is gone?We know Lina will be a character in the new season but which other Dota heroes are we going to see? Some have theorized Pangolier, Chen, and Beastmaster, but nothing is concrete right now.Is Invoker done with plotting? He seems to have had his revenge on Selemene, but perhaps this was just step one in his plan. Does he plan to try and resurrect his daughter?What of Fymryn? This tournament witnessed the favorites toppling down during the Group Stage. Fnatic finished at last place with a 0-3 scoreline. Meanwhile, Talon and SMG exit the tournament at second last. However, the king of SEA, BOOM Esports retains its title and clinched the championship.But the favorites losing the tournament early might just be due to the odd tiebreakers format.The HatYai Invitational received some backlash during the conclusion of its Group Stage. With the tournament format being extremely cramped and the Group Stage being brutal BO1s, there were many tied scores in the aftermath. The organizer revealed that they were using the time-rating tiebreaker system; which basically means if you lose early you get lesser points and vice versa.The time-rating system caught teams off-guard. This would be a window for teams to adapt and improve to secure that final slot at the grandest Dota 2 event. The Fall groups kicked off with 12 teams and only six will receive their invitation to Finals. Today, FaZe Clan and OG kicked off the proceedings with a semifinals match against each other.&nbsp;Map Picks:OG picked Ancient and FaZe picked their staple Mirage as their map of choice. With the classic Inferno as the third and final map of the series, fans were expecting a close series.&nbsp;<iframe src="https://clips.twitch.tv/embed?clip=StrongOnerousDugongBuddhaBar-nLhWOUoo7f2W8woR&amp;autoplay=false&amp;parent=esports.gg"></iframe>OG started the series with round wins but FaZe bounced back to take a 7-2 lead. But OG managed to win the next six rounds after some stellar NEOFRAG performances. The Czech professional had several consistent rounds which enabled his teammates to play off of him.&nbsp;But the second half was largely CT sided and OG took full advantage of their familiarity with the two-floored map. PUBG Mobile Campus Challenge is an open tournament for university students to represent their University in esports. It's has been held in various SEA country since 2019 and always has good response from the fans.


The last year PMCC was held differently compared to the other years as the last one actually did a cross country fight between top 3 university representative in SEA. In that tournament, Malaysia managed to get Top 2 and losing just by a small margin of 4 points.


It seems like based on the announcement made, that this year PMCC will revert back to the champion go to nationals method. Although~ the qualifier will have campus leaders and Open Qualifiers category to determine the top 20 teams. Yes,20 teams so that they'll be playing in a league.


Which university do you think will be on top this year? Personally I'll trust a friend of mine who's in UniKL who actually joined last year and losing in the qualifier only to the champion PMCC. He must be really good to give the champ a run for their money.

Hey guys, in this post, we will consider the comparison of two popular guns AKM Vs M762 and who is the best close-rang gun in PUBG Mobile.


🔸Comparison of AKM and M762 Weapon in PUBG Mobile


1.) Attachment 
 
The AKM has three attachments, such as the muzzle, magazine and scope. Meanwhile, M762 has four attachments, such as the muzzle, magazine, scope, and foregrip. However, the foregrip option in the M762 makes it more stable than the AKM.  


2.) Recoil
 
The M762 has more recoil than the AKM but its attachment options help reduce recoil significantly. On the other hand, the recoil is more on the AKM because it only uses the compensator as an attachment. 


3.) Damage 
 
The AKM considerably more damage than the M762 . Statistics show that AKM can inflict a total damage of 48 and headshot damage 110 while M762 can only deal a total of 46 damage and headshot damge 105. Both guns can effectively knock down enemies wearing level 2 armor or level 3 helmet with 3-4 sprays. 


4.) Fire Rate 
 
Both guns have a high recoil but are very accurate in single fire mode. The M762 has a 10% higher fire rate than the AKM. While the AKM has a fire rate of 490 damage bullets per second, the M762 has a fire rate of 545 damage bullets per second.  
 
The M762, has three modes of fire: Single, Burst(3 bullets are fired) and Auto, on the other hand AKM has two firing mode: Single and Auto. 


🔸AKM Vs M762 - Best Close Range Weapon


Both guns are one of the best damage guns. Both the M762 and AKM can be used in mid-range combat, but are harder to use in long-range combat. The M762 is a great option for close-range combat if the player can control the recoil. However, it is better to use AKM in single-firing mode.   


I prefer to use AKM in close range also AKM some time for long range or midd range with no scope.

In contrast to our ultra-connected lives, some people decide to turn their back on a society that seemingly constantly turns to tech. These individuals are referred to as neo-luddites and it’s a movement that is gaining ground, especially among younger generations.


Our society today is ultra-connected. New technologies emerge on a regular basis that appears to be accelerating and the use of social networks is becoming increasingly popular while younger and younger users get on board. According to a Pew Research study, 91% of 13-14 year olds in the US have access to a smartphone while research from 2019 has suggested that 90% of US teens use social media.


But this ultra-connected lifestyle is not to everyone’s taste. Some people want to free themselves from social networks, or even reject technology outright. This movement is being called neo-Luddism, or modern Luddism.


French historian François Jarrige described this movement to French publication l’Obs as “a nebulous group of people who think that technology is a form of alienation rather than a means of emancipation”.


What is neo-luddism? The term takes its name from the Luddite movement, named after Ned Ludd, an English worker who protested against the use of weaving machines at the end of the 18th century. He immediately initiated an underground movement, called “The Luddites” and nicknamed “the machine breakers”. Since then, the struggle against the mechanisation of work has evolved into opposition to new technologies as they progress through society.


In 1990, American activist Chellis Glendinnings revived the term “Luddite” in her book Notes Toward A Neo-Luddite Manifesto, which gave birth to neo-Luddism, an activist movement with a technophobic bent. According to French publication l’Observateur, neo-Luddism is in battle on several fronts: environmentalist battles against GMOs and nuclear power; calling out nanotechnologies; refusing data collection in daily life; resisting security initiatives they view as intrusive (such as bracelets for newborns, cameras in the streets). Today, Luddism, or neo-Luddism, is largely associated with fighting against government surveillance and a certain form of capitalism.


Rebellion and emancipation of the self Recently the New York Times arranged to follow the daily lives of the “Luddite Club”, a group of high school students in Brooklyn in the United States, who advocate for “a lifestyle of self-liberation from social media and technology”. Its 25 members have decided to give up their smartphones as well as social networks. They also offer one-hour digital detox sessions to other students.

The students highlight the benefits of this lifestyle: better self-esteem, less anxiety linked to social networks, a growing interest in reading and nature. When they need to connect with others, they swear by physical meet-ups arranged with flip phones. One source of inspiration for this group is the 1996 book, Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer, the true story of Chris McCandless, a young man who died trying to live in the Alaskan wilderness.


According to a study by US marketing firm Hill Holliday on Generation Z – people born after 1995 – half of those surveyed said they have stopped or are considering stopping at least one social media platform. In 2020, in the United States, a movement called “Log Off”, which defines itself as a youth movement by teens for teens, decided to provide a space for conversation about the harms of social networks and how to use them more healthily.


The movement has engaged with thousands of teens in more than a dozen countries, documenting the stories of a generation increasingly concerned about leaving their mental health in the hands of for-profit technology companies. – AFP Relaxnews

After standing on the runner up spot for 3 days straight, Geek Slate repeated what DBD has done yesterday, getting themselves a double Chicken Dinner. With allow them to climb the ranks with ease.
