OPPO A78 5G launched in Malaysia!

OPPO is always continually adding phones to the Malaysian market. Today, OPPO announced that the new A78 5G will be available in Malaysia for RM1099. It has 33W SuperVOOC fast charging and a 5000mAh battery.

First of all, the OPPO A78 5G has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth and comfortable viewing experience when watching videos or playing games, as well as support for all-day AI eye comfort.

The phone has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth-of-field lens. The 8MP selfie camera on the front supports AI portrait retouching, AI scene enhancement, and extreme night modes.


The OPPO A78 5G has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 33W SuperVOOC flash charging, which can charge it from 0% to 100% in 67 minutes and give it up to 22.85 hours of talk time when fully charged. The A78 5G also has a number of AI power-saving features that work around the clock to improve battery life and performance.

The OPPO A78 5G is powered by MediaTek's Tiangui 700 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of built-in storage that can be expanded with a microSD card, and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM expansion.

The A78 5G comes in Glowing Purple and Glowing Black colours and will cost RM1099 in Malaysia when it goes on sale on January 14. Those who want to buy one can do so at My OPPO Space, OPPO Brand Store, OPPO Official Online Store, OPPO Authorized Online Store, Shopee, Lazada, and through telecom partners like Maxis.

Celcom and Digi customers can buy the A78 5G starting February 7, and if they buy it from an OPPO Brand Store, they will get a free OPPO Band worth RM159. This is a first-come, first-served offer.
