The final PMNC in the MEA region reached its end last Saturday, and that was the PUBG Mobile National Championship Saudi Arabia (PMNC KSA) 2022!
The PMNC KSA began with registrations from Dec 21st, 2022 - Jan 2nd, 2023 and immediately followed with the Qualifiers on Jan 7th - 11th and 27 teams advanced into the Semi-Finals. In the Semi-Finals, 5 teams from PMCO 2022 joined the 27 qualified teams and fought across 30 matches held between Jan 16th - 21st where only 13 teams advanced into the Finals.
The Finals took place on Jan 26th - 28th as a LAN event at the Saudi eLeagues stadium and the 13 teams from the Semi-Finals were joined with 3 teams invited from 2022 PMPL Arabia Fall, fighting in 15 matches for the $30,000 USD total prizepool and 3 slots to 2023 PMPL Arabia!
Onyx Ravens emerged as the grand champion with 190 points total, 25 more points than Triple Esports in 2nd and 47 points ahead of Team X YaLLa (previously YaLLa Esports) in 3rd. As mentioned earlier, these 3 teams will also be advancing to the 2023 PMPL season 🔥
Essential Esports (ES) were disqualified from the event due to breaking tournament rules.
