Now, there are already excellent products such as PS2 emulator AetherSX2 and Switch emulator Skyline out there.

A few days ago, developer Macdu teased that the PlayStation Vita Android emulator called Vita3K is scheduled to go live on February 12 at 18:00 BST.

To ensure that more users download and use it, he promises not to put it on the Play Store for now, but to open the APK download directly at that time.

The developer mentioned some minimum requirements to run the emulator, such as a 64-bit processor, Android 7.0 and higher, and support for Vulkan 1.0. Although no chipset is named, Macdu's own development machine is Xiaomi's Poco F3, based on the Snapdragon 870 platform.

It is reported that Vita3K already supports more than 400 games.
